Yea, not good for home finances or with the wifey. My wife literally thought I had a **** addiction the first few years! Now she says I truly do...it's just "car ****". LOL

Well, the way I look at it, it's cheaper than going out and buying a new car. Of course, that's how I look at it. She doesn't look at quite the same way and says, "But it's just a car..."

Look at it this way, we become very creative in justifying the expenses. I have been working on justifying the LED tails...I am close.

I need to sell my twisters and I am there! Of course she believes that I did not spend money on the new Tourmaline rims...(wink-wink).

And she says...they look the same (the twisters and tourmalines...LOL). Like what?

The way it works for me (in theory) is that any extra money I make I can spend however I want. Unfortunately, the extra money ends up going on something we need 'for the house'. It's tough to justify the push-button start when the dogs need to go to the vet or the washer is out.

I got lucky when I changed out my rims and someone bought the pieplates for $250. That was a nice surprise because I thought I had to spend money to get rid of those...

The taillights are the next big purchase and I'm working hard on the sales angle for those.

Done? No one is ever "done". There's always more mods to go!

The hate part, is hating not having it all. And hating to wait for the new stuff to get here and hating to wait to have it installed. And hating not to have it first. There that should be enough hate for this thread. Now all is right with the world, at least on my part of it. lol!

yea pie plates are always usefull esp if they have tires, guys on here with pretty much any lexus can mount them on to sell or trade in their car and keep their aftermarket rims. For instance if i was taking my car to the dearlership tomorrow for a trade in id slap some cheap pie plates on lol

You bring up a valid point. An extra set of so-so rims with tires are very handy when the time comes. Or of you can sell at a very good price, then it is worth it.

You always think that you will nevel let go of a car, but things change. You really have a point.
