They will only spray when headlights are on.

I had mine removed when I had my kit installed. Only problem is, they didn't plug the hole in the washer fluid reservoir, so now I have the lower washer fluid warning light. And when I tried to fill it, washer fluid ran out all over the garage floor. Need to get that figured out.

If you don't want any residue on your wind shield or hood, make sure you fill the washer fluid tank with 100% distilled water. When you see residue, it is because the tap water has mineral in it. Distilled water solved this problems.

If you use 100% water in the washer fluid tank, be sure to replace it before next winter. The tube from the tank to the headlight washers is narrow hard plastic, and subject to freezing/cracking, as I learned the hard way. I now use fluid which won't freeze.

How 'bout pointing them forwards to get the kids, deer or slow sheep ... Actually I wanted them removed to have a smooth bumper and lose the weight but when I had the opportunity after hitting a deer, insurance insisted in getting everything back to OEM. Perhaps I'll do it with a different front bumper in the future.

Mine work great! Had to use them a few times yesterday with all the snow melt happening.

I never use mine, their aim is always off and I never want to get glass cleaner on the hood of the car!
