Mentioned in previous posting that Lexus of Manhattan refused to turn off SC430 daytime running lights notwithstanding I gave them copy of the June 2001 Lexus service bulletin approving this procedure. They are conveniently located, not far from my apartment. So I called Ray Catena in Larchmont, NY, the dealer which had sold me the car, have not used them for service because they are 40 minutes away. They turned the DRLs off, no problem. Also solved a rhythmic noise problem by rotating the run flats, LM had been unable to figure out where it came from. So from now on I will drive up to Larchmont without complaint, maybe there is a good pizzeria nearby. I am up to 15,000 miles and tires have lots of miles left in them, unlike some others on the forum who have mentioned short life. I do not corner hard and rarely go over 75 - too many Cossacks in NY, NJ, CT and PA and the red car is too easy to see.
