It's the INAUGURAL Dallas-Fort Worth Lexus SC430 Pebble Beach Convention!

We had a HUGE turnout. All two of us were there! LOL...

TooCool and I met up after a long time of talking about it. 05 + 07 PB's.

We actually went over to local dealer who had another 07 PB (I posted on it last week after falling in love) to check that out, share war stories, etc.

TooCool definitely lived up to his screen name, LOL!

And I definitely lived up to mine.

Unfortunately I guess we didn't learn too much about each other's cars except for a greater appreciation as both of us had studied each other's Pebble Beach models for a long time. I learned that the 07 espresso birdseye IS exactly like the 05, and that my car is taller with my 20's on it compared to a stock SC side by side.

TooCool doesn't name his cars, but isn't candycane the best name for the 07 PB??? DH784123 are you still around? Haven't heard from too many other PB's lately.

76210guy-you need to drive down to Dallas so we can grow our PB Meeting by 30%, LOL! I'd love to get together with all the other SC and Lex owners eventually in Dallas.

For now, just a PB love fest. Very cool having three rare cars together at the same time. Looks like someone at the dealer will be a very happy new owner!!! One less 07PB for me to gawk at

Even TooCool was impressed how clean it was and you could have a 12oz filet on his tires his car was so clean.

Oh, have to say that the starfire pearl is such a great color because it is so forgiving! I breath on my black and it shows! No seriously, it does.

Very short notice this time...TooCool and I have been talking about getting together for the past six months and never put it together. We both had to visit the dealership so it just worked out. I know, I know...sorry!!!!

Let's get you, 76210guy for sure, Texas83, Plano Bill and all the DFWers together soon for a cars and coffee and whoever else wants to come.

It seems like everyone but TooCool is on the Dallas side of the metroplex and kinda north too.

Me too! I think I would go with the megan's but I need to chill and wait to see what's going on with my company before I drop that much coin into Ebony. $2k is a lot for a drop...plus are you going to add 20"s??? IMO you should get the wheels you want first.

If I had to do it all over again with the Pebble Beach cars I think I would make a strong case for buying the staggered g-spiders in chrome (under $1k) and get some spacers to push the wheels out a little maybe go a little fatter in the rear, not much and keep with OEM look and certainly the feel.

I wobble like nobody's business the first five miles or so in the morning with my 20's then after they warm up and I speed up I'm fine. So annoying. About to have them rebalanced for the 6,000th time-like it matters! LOL

I love the g-spiders on the PB's. What ever happened to yours again???

Oh man, those cars with coffee come up so quick and I don't do well with set schedules personally because I travel so much. That would have been cool to do this one. Saturday mornings are tough when you've got little ones too. No excuses though, we need to get together for sure! I forgot you were in DFW too, Harold! We have a pretty good sized DFW group just for SC's.

I work in Frisco M-F from 7-4ish. Any other time is pretty much good for me with some notice. I don't think I even take lunch anymore while at work

Pretty much anytime is good for me....unless I'm volunteered (by my wife) to babysit the grandkids! Just need a little bit of time to make plans. I'll be looking forward to meeting everyone.

Count me in. I just started a new job so I am on the road M-F visiting my team in the field until the end of the year, but I'm home weekends for the most part (except next weekend). Would be great to get together for sure!
