3 Way No. 2 Solenoid? Po763 Code Transmission Electrical Inigma
My fellow SC430 brethren (and ladies of course)
Check engine light appeared, with a PO763 code (Shift solenoid C Electrical); went into the tranny; found it indicated 3 way no. 2 solenoid is potentially faulty. I have ordered all of the shift solenoids for the 2002 SC 430 through Lexus, no match! Engineers in Japan want a caliper measurement of the solenoid which is a pain to go into the tranny yet again. Has anyone had this issue and fixed it through the PCM or some faulty wiring? The reason I think it may be wiring is because it did go off for awhile, but then came back on. Car is currently in Limp Mode as well, I need to get it SMOG certified in 4 days also..
