Default Navigation wood panel came off tracks

Hey guys i really need your help with this one. one time when i was driving i hit a huge pot hole, and when i turned the car off as the wood panel began to close it was stuck because it came of track on one side so i played with it and got it back on track. However this time the panel came of both tracks and i have no idea of what to do. the motor seems to be working, it goes up and down as i press open and close. But the panel is just loose, i called lexus to see if just in case something broke on the panel do they sell just the panel as a replacement and the dealer said no it will be 2700 please if someone could help me i would really appreciate it.

There is a substantial amount of labor to get to the door by removing some the upper garnish around the controls and then removing four screws to get to the unit. You should disconnect the battery too. My recollection is the wood door is mounted to a frame that rides in the tracks, but is pushed and pulled up and down by a motor. If you're just looking for the wood trim piece and lexus won't sell it, then your alternative will be a salvage yard.

I was quoted by them $500 for the wood panel that covers the car stereo. I figure if they could rip you off with this panel they could also rip you off with a nav panel too.

Thank you so much guys, I found a place called Lexus Specialists ( a group of EX mechanics for lexus opened up a nice place on their own, and provide same excellent service for about 60% less than what u would pay at lexus) and they took everything out and put the cover back on track. Apparently before I bought the car someone was digging back there and left a few screws out, that might of caused it to come off track.
