Ok, I think my dealer is trying to rip me off. My SC 430 has only 6600 miles on it and already the service department is telling us that the tires are too low on tread and need replacing and that ALL 4 RIMS ARE BENT!! They said that it could be caused by hitting speed bumps or potholes too fast but I don't buy that for a minute. I've driven other cars (Lexus too) and never had the problem of speed bumps (taken at 10 mph) destroying all 4 rims. Basically, I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem, because thanks to all who helped me with the Levinson Amp problem (the dealer recognized it as defective). Maybe you all know something I don't know about these rims...because I sure am not looking forward to dumping a thousand dollars on this B.S. problem.

P.S.- Any suggestions on whether it would be cheaper to get some cool rims, maybe t.r.d. or something, online? THANKS!

I also had bent rims, but it wasn't the OEM wheels. It was Millie Miglias that I drove for maybe 3 months before it got bent hitting a pothole. I never bent a rim on any car before. I suspect that this car is more susceptible because of the low profile tires.

check the wheels forum....killer deal on a set of HRE's going on there for an SC 430, you cant go wrong. Alot stronger than your stock wheels too.
