Machined tourmaline wheels. Love them and love my chromed ones too. But with the install of a more open design, those awful calibers are very visible. My solution was caliber covers, others have painted them, and those who were willing to spend big bucks installed new aftermarket ones.

For some reason I like the pie covers for that classic feel but the tourmalines really update it.

What is really important here is what you want and what you like. I certainly have my own tastes, but that shouldn't be important to you. Both sets of wheels have their own character, you just have to decide which character you want to portray.

I like the tourmaline wheels for a more updated look. I also like the color choice of the car!

I loved the original pie plates, but after they needed replacing two months ago, i switched to new rims. It gave me a whole new look/feel on the car and I fell in love all over again. Go for the new rims man, its like buying a whole new car!

I agree. New rims make it feel like a new car...and look a lot better, younger in a way.

My vote is for the tourmalines. As far as VVTIBob said, that's just another weekend project, when you get use to seeing the new wheels and need another change, but that one won't cost you as much. Hope your dealer isn't chargin' too much for the swap.

TOURMALINES without question. I updated my SC with Lexus ISP Mode wheels. Really updates the car.

Quick question to the OP...did you install turn signals on the side of your car? I see one right behind the front wheel...

Love the black / black SC (I have the same )
