Discovered the source of the wind noise!

After moving the window up and down several times, there is slight deformation of the rubber, about 1/8~1/16 of an inch, upward as the window reaches its top point stop.
Closing the door buries this point into the A-Pillar weather seal. I'd describe it as the window glass kissing the #2 weather stripe, then as the door closes sealing to the A-pillar.

This seal (and its failure) is so popular that Sewell is selling it like a commodity.

I used "Liquid Tape" from Lowes to fix this. About $5. Very flexible rubber that I have used successfully for some wiring changes underneath our landscaping fountain.
I put some blue masking tape on the top edge of the window where the split is and then coated the split with the Liquid Tape. Dries in about 10 minutes.

Just thought I'd try a different (cheap & easy) approach before I dig into the workings of my window assembly. Seems to be working fine.

Great, I found my 09 with the same problem. Lexus dealer will look at it today and hopefully they will replace it under factory warranty. Looks like some of you were not able to have it done under factory warranty. How you do it 2007sc430? . My dealer said this is common for frameless window and will eventually break the rubber after moving window up and down. I told him for a 09 and a convertible? He couldn't really explain it. I wonder the motor that lifts the window needs to be adjusted? It is really protruding out of the rubber!

This is what it looks like on mine:

I can see how the liquid rubber tape will work. Need to try it.

Mine look like that too, mandyfig. I really think the best fix is to adjust the windows. My dealer should fix them this week or next week and i'll do a before and after picture.

Mine was just like that on the driver's side and I managed to get it replaced under a goodwill fix at the dealer. I still get wind noise from the passenger side even though the rubber there is fine. I've given up trying to eradicate wind noise.
where are you in ATL Mandyfig ? I'm in East Cobb.
