Default Help with RFT to conventional selection!

Well time is up and I have decided to go with conventional tires as we are tied of the harsh ride of the RFT’s! Anyone have suggestions on types & size for my 07 wheels and should I reinstall the TPS? I'm currently running 245/40 ZR18’s which I believe is standard.

Thanks!

David

Mercy, there are several threads on this one. Everyone has an opinion and there are several good choices. Do a search on tires.

As far as the TPS, that is kind of personal preference. I kept mine. It seems like good reassurance that the tires are still inflated, as it is sometimes hard to tell with these low profile radial tires. Just be sure to have the tire installation shop put a new seal kit in them so they won't leak. The seal kits are cheap, something like $5 to $7 per tire.

M.
Try Toyo Versado I have used them on my Gs350, my dad Accord, daily driver Mazda6, great tread, smooth ride and very quiet. Town Fair have them.

My past experiences are as follow:
Bridgestone R505A, Bridgestone Ps03 on my G35 APS turbo (sold) = great when new but road noise 50% life left PRICEY!!!
Nitto N555 = great traction on my Ml55 (sold)
Yokohama ES100 300zx TT, Yoko S.Drive wife GX470,Faken F451 and F452 = they are ok...great prices
Toyo T1R (current)on Sc430, Toyo Versado (current)Gs350, Mazda6 and Honda Accord
I personally like them. My best friend is a store manager at Town fair tires recommended to me when these came out about two years ago. Try them at Town Fair tires, you have 30 days to make up your mind. You have nothing to lose. My 2 cents

Yokos numero uno for me...as Harold57 said, we have beat this topic to death. Seriously, please try a search and read up.

Discount Tire and Tire Rack are great recommendations to start with.

If you want to keep your car as stock as possible, keep the TPMS in.
