I've held off on this idea for the calipers and I am still waiting on a company here in San Diego for some custom caliper covers. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...hat-to-do.html. There a lot of info in this previous thread.
I contacted them last week and they believe they'll have the prototypes ready shortly. Here's their link: http://www.calipercovers.com/
My SC is a silver bullet and I'm thinking of getting the grille chromed to play off the new Chrome Tourmalines.

I did some calipers on a 2000 S-10 that I had at the time. Don't remember what company paint I used but it was made for calipers. (Wish I was at home, I could tell you the company) I too painted them red. Cleaned with brake dust remover spray.I would go to an automotive store or ebay. I do have a kit that is gold that I was going to use on my ES but haven't yet. I had an 06 GTI, that came with red calipers and I put decals on them. Got them on ebay. One set had the VW logo and the other read GTI. The calipers on the GTI were different sizes so I used two different sets. The wheels that I had on, I didn't even take off to install, just cleaned with alcohol, and installed. Had the car till the summer of 08, when I bought the SC and they still looked as good as when I installed them. I had put probably 30k to 40k on the car with the decals installed.

Bob I thought about it and I think it was duplicolor for calipers. Went on easy and it lasted for at least 2 years, still looked good when I got rid of the truck. If you are going the brembo route mdpuff has experience installing those. Like langsdale said there is some modifying that has to be done.

G2 Makes a paint kit it is available at the above link from Tire Rack. I have used it on several cars. It works great and if you put it on per the instructions it is permanant. You must take all wheels off since it is a 2 part paint and once you mix it you only have about 1 hour to do the painting. Kit includes cleaner for the calipers. I reccomend you wash the wheels and calipers first, then when completely dry, use the brake cleaner. It is very easy to do but you must be carefull when hand painting to get a good look. Decals are available on E bay - cheap. There is a round L that looks great on the rear units. When you get the kit you will think there is not enough paint, there is, I recently did an Audi Q7 which has huge calipers, had enough for 2 coats.
Good luck

Are these the right size caliper decals for the SC430? They seem somewhat small: 2.5" x .31" and 2" x .25". http://www.xenonmods.com/xenonmods_lexus_items.htm
