remote top down
I just had the coolest thing done. I have an Avital remote starter, I had the remote trunk release button wired to send a signal to the top down switch through a 30 second timer. Now I can lower the top by remote. I can watch the top going down and not miss out on the fun.

WoW!!!!
Please post a little more info on this. I would be VERY interested in getting this done. I don't have a remote starter, nor do I want one but I would really like to be able to lower/raise the top from the outside. Could I just use another key fob?
Who did this for you?
Is it a big deal to do?

First you have to have the remote starter because the car has to be running for the top to operate. Second it is only configured to lower the top.
It isn't a very big deal to have it done. I had it done in Chicago. If you want more details let me know.
