Unhappy SC 430 - Accidents

My SC 430 was rear ended (hit and run). It's been over a month and at least 14 thousand to fix. I hope to have it back in another week. I miss my 430....

I can sympathize. Mine was stolen and recovered. It'll be 3 weeks today that it's in the shop.

Default $14K

if you don't have photos (might be too sad to share), what was damaged that has caused $14K in repairs?

If he was rear ended, the roof folding mechanism may have been damaged. That SOUNDS like it costs some dough.

Sorry to hear this mahn, howerer welcome to CLubLexus!

i was curious about the roof... if the top is down and your rear ended, is the roof close enough to the bumper that it would get destroyed?

Sorry for everyone who misses their SC!!!!

toog, if they didn't know what they were doing, they'd flip burgers, or be behind bars. It's natural selection -- only the ones who can do it right stay around.

If someone want's your car, they will get it. Ever hear of a tow truck, the alarm doesn't necessarily have to be bypassed to steal a car. Alarms are for your run of the mill thief. The pro's can't be stopped. Unless you have low jack.

Not only does your car alarm not have to go off, if it does go off, and your not around, how often to people actually look out their window to seei f something is happening?

One of the biggest scams is impersonating a two truck driver and towing the car... its pretty genious and smart thing to do..
