Unhappy Battery died; top won't close now...

I recharged my battery and now the top won't close and the trunk won't open with the inside switch. The trunk will open with the button on the key. Does anyone know of a quick reset so I don't have to take it to a dealer?

before you operate the convertible top, make sure
1. engine is running
2. tonneau cover is in place
3. trunk is fully close

if it still doesn't work, read your owner's manual to learn how to close it manually.

The manual is your source for info, get to an auto store and purchase a new battery. Good Luck

Do you have the trunk shade in place? Pulled open. Always have the engine running when you open or close the top.....You will not have this type of a problem.

Smile The solution...There is a trunk cancel...

...button in the glove box. My wife must have hit it when she got her sunglasses out of the glove box. This is the same wife who left the keys in the ignition causing the lights to stay on all night and run down the battery in the first place...may she rest in peace!

Thats two Strikes! Just keep her away from the car.....I would hate to see that you would have to get rid of her after the third strike!
