I would carefully remove the belt and the undamaged snake meat, get a pack of beer and BBQ the snake right away. Snake tastes a lot better than any farm grown livestock. Yummy!!!

Default 3 dead mice in my 2008 ISF

I just acquired an ISF 2008, with only 3k miles. It's a beautiful. Picked it up from Boston.
When I bought it, I didn't even turn on the AC heating system (bad of me). Car was in perfect condition and the weather was great so I didn't even bother testing anything. My mistake. Previous owner didn't drive it much a lot and did take great care of the ISF. Having it sit for months at a time allowed mice to use it for their home.

So when back in VA, with my family in the car, they wanted the AC on. Then I discovered a terrible terrible smell. Next day I had a chance to check and change the cabin filter. When I opened it, I saw carpet debris all over the place, acorns, and other needles to make a mice's nest. I used my hands to remove all the carpet debris. With the third or forth handful of debris, I saw that I was holding onto 3 dead mice. 1 hours of cleaning, and then removed the nasty cabin filter. Lots of droppings, acidic stains on the filter.

I am praying that all the mice are accounted for. I'm spraying the BG AC cleaner/deorderizer from my Lexus dealership. The Lexus dealership didn't help much, but gave me a crazy estimate of $5000 to open everything apart and replace all the heating ducts, etc. Crazy, crazy!

Again, I'm praying that the smell with go away in a few days/weeks. I'll apply the cleaner spray. Also hoping the mice didn't eat any electrical wires.

Hope this doesn't happen to anyone.
