I was just looking at Cars.com and ran across a rare 2002 Neiman Marcus Edition SC 430. Only 100 of these were made. They have a unique silver exterior and a red interior. Mileage is about 29,000 and it's priced at $27,000. It's being offered by an individual seller.

I just got mine a few months ago and I'm loving it. I got mine with 19k miles. The exterior color is definately unique.

Well, I know the colors aren't for everyone, but for the record, I'd love to have it. Definitely a collectors car....with only 100 being made.

Owner says it comes with 100,000 mile extended warranty. As I understand it the extended warranties are NOT transferable.

Thanks for the lead on Club Lexus. I've posted my Neiman Marcus car in the classified Lexus Vehicles for sale thread.

I felt lucky to find #47 and will be sad to see it leave, but somebody else will enjoy this very rare car. I found that even the simplest of trip to the grocery store would end up with someone complimenting this car and I can't tell you how many times I've heard, "I've never seen one like that".

For the record, Lexus does not transfer the extended warranty, but it is refundable on a pro-rata basis

i don't think their certified pre-owned warranties are transferable. but i believe their extended warranties are.

Lexus says no, on both. Too bad, as other Mfgr's do transfer.

dinner plate wheels need to GO, but other than that a good deal on a rare and unique lexus

I for have a 2005 with a lexus platinum extended warranty and it is transferable for $ 50.00 to the nex owner

Welcome to CL, TOmanyTOys, and good luck selling your cool car. All I can say is......I wish I lived in CA. I might have 2 SC 430's if I did.

Extended Warranty FYI is a transfer ..........$100.00 to new owner.

I consider that a worthwhile plus in buying or selling a Lexus.

Interesting,...not the answer I got when I called to check on my Lexus Platinum Extended Warranty. Could transfer fee be related to age of vehicle?
