I was just wondering.. i have the intake system.. but.. do i need the heat sheild??

I was think of buying one.. but i was wondering.. if it does any good?

Whats the performance with or with out the heat sheild.. and where can i get one cheap?

I doubt there's dyno info regarding with or without the heat shield, but it is known that cooler air is better.
I put one on my Injen intake and it adds a little bling to the engine compartment.
Seems like it was $56 for the Injen shield, shipped.

So the sheild goes in front of the engine right?? do you have a pic of where its supposed to be located?

It goes over the air filter (and yes, the shield should be between the engine and the filter).
