i cant base my decision on just a few people...i have to widen my search and need more opinions from professionals who do this for a living to come to a decisive decision..
but at the end....i can always ship to works...but im trying to save the few hundreds... + the time it takes it to ship and fix in japan...u know the wait for car parts are months to ship here and back to japan...

Anion, that is awful too! That's really too bad. I'm glad that you (and any passengers) weren't injured. Glad it was only minimal damage, could have been a lot worse. And I agree, such a headache with the shipping for repair, if that's the path you take. Sorry to hear.
As for my situation, MRR wheel says they will not repair as they do not see it as a defect, but if more of these "dimples" show up then they would consider it a manufacture defect. At the moment they consider it a unnatural incident (as guessed here) where someone dropped something onto the dish (ie. some type of intent or shhhh'd accident). I've contacted McGrath Lexus since they were the shop to service my car the previous day for the trans pressure mod, and am working with them to see if the tech may admit the incident. If not, I guess I'm S.O.L. as my surveillance tapes haven't surfaced any evidence against my prime suspect. I really hope Lexus comes through, but I'm not holding my breathe.
