Default SC430 and six month service

My six month service is coming up next week and plan on addressing a few of the issues discussed on the forum. Dealer is Freeman Lexus in Santa Rosa, CA.

Silver/Black with 2100 miles.

Thanks for all the info in the FAQ section.

1. Will have the audio issues checked out. I was able to reproduce the rattling within the doors on the Stereophile test disc as Anitgeek stated.

Here are the results from my service invoice:
PART# - DESCRIPTION - QTY - AMOUNT
0823100801 - Noise Kit - 1 - WARRANTY
0823100810 - Wind Noise Kit - 1 - WARRANTY

Condition: Customer hears a rattle from both door panels
Cause: Loose screws in wood trim pieces
Remedy: Insulated wood trim pieces in door panels

2. Address harsh ride/suspension: My VIN is 9874 (bought in 7/2001). I have experienced the same issues as what has been posted. I will refer to TSB SU004-01, "poor assembly in rear front bushings" from evictor's post.

3. I would like to have the VSC (Vehicle Skid Control) to default to Off.

4. Small rattle from the passenger visor area. Seems like there is a rattle between the visor and the roof contact area.

5. Passenger door doesn't close smoothly. Hopefully, a simple adjustment or lubrication issue.

6. Will be swapping out for chrome rims after the service appointment. Thanks genearch for the info on Wesco.

I will post summary next week.

Thanks again for all the info on this board.
