Drivers seat cushion degrading foam density
I know this may seem strange but I just called Lexus and asked them if any owners of the older SC 430 models have complained about the foam used on the seat cushion breaking down.
I have noticed I start getting butt and leg pain after about 60 mins in the seat where two years ago I would drive for hours on end with out any pain.
In the passengers seat which is rarely used it is no problem.
Since I am 64 part of the problem could be ME but in other cars I have no problems sitting for long periods...........and NO I am not hugh so weight is not a factor..........I slide in and out as quick as you younger guys....most of the time.
Anyone else having a problem? If so, what have been the solutions?
Thanks and Happy Holidays.

I've noticed the same thing in my 2004 Corvette. It was fine when I bought it 5 years ago but now it's beginning to feel like I'm sitting on a toilet seat. I've noticed there are seat replacements in the aftermarket Corvette catalogs but I haven't seen such aftermarket resources for the SC430. I imagine a replacement seat from Lexus would be unbelievably expensive.

Froggy- I have asked my Lexus service guy to check into it............since I have the extended warranty this might be a covered item..............another reason for spending the long term bucks.
