Default Anybody try or see VERTINI wheels?

There is this place called get your wheels that has Vertini wheels for sale with tires for very resonable prices on ebay. 20 in with 235/35/20 and 275/30/20 Faulken tires for ~$2200.

He lists all the spec of the wheels and tires except for weight. I'd really like to know how much they weigh?

I'm looking at the riviera 20 in or 19 in variety.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Curt

vertini riviera in 20"s would be nice on a SC430 since the SC can fit wide widths! I was planning on getting a set until I ordered some JP wheels...

35lbs is a bit much. Find some nice forged wheels for reduced weight.

w/o tires.

What is the difference between forged wheels and others?

Why are multipiece wheels more expensive? Any advantages?

Anyone notice better suspension action or handling from just lighter wheels?

Forged rims are generally lighter and stronger but also more $$$$$. Figure 20" tires can run around 22-27lbs and it adds up. A lighter setup will allow faster reaction from your suspension which can be helpful even in the real world considering how uneven our roads are even around highway bends where you want your tires to stay on the road as often as possible. A good used set of quality 20s can also be had just keep in mind that the SC has a aggressive offset. Check for 350z and G35 rims also.

Default Does anyone have 20s on right now?

Does it make a big diff in ride quality? I have 19s and they still ride great.. been thinking of upgrading.

All depends on your tires and suspension. Check Tirerack for ratings on ride comfort. An adjustable setup like Teins would allow you some flexibility.

2-3 piece wheels are more expensive because of their general lighter, stronger and more elaborate construction.

However, as I was told you will not be able to use your tire pressure sensors on 2-3 piece wheels.

Having a set of lighter wheels is always a plus. I love the way 20's look on the SC but after having a set of 20's on my Mercedes, I prefer to trade the look of the 20s for a more comfortable ride.
