It has to come from a MKIV Twin Turbo Supra in order to clear the brakes

UPDATE FROM A MAZDA DEALERSHIP.

Sorry - but the rim is not sold by itself. I can do the kit for $357.95 + 221.00 for the tire, and the the discount. Your total with tax and everything would be $549.90 (that includes the 10% discount).

Let me know!

For that much I would pay the extra and go with the Lexus setup. Sewell will be the best place to get it. Or just wait till a good price is offered on an rx8 setup on eBay. They come up all the time.

So if I would go to the local auto salvage yard and ask for a spare tire size T145-70R-17 with a bolt pattern of 5x114.3 it should fit the SC430? Thanks

Absolutely not. The wheel depth and offsets will have to clear the oversized brake components of the sc430.

The offsets and depth I do not know for sure what they are but because they are bigger than normal wheels and is exactly why the cost is high.

Here is another alternative to consider. In addition to my SC430, I have a 93 Mazda RX7 with a mini-spare. Although it is only a 16" wheel, it fits on the front of the SC over the brakes without any problem. I would not want to run it on the rear because of the resulting difference in wheel speeds (left to right) but if a rear goes flat, I'll move a front one to the rear and the spare to the front.

I got my spare from a 2009 Nissan Altima. It works great and was cheap! I had to put 200 miles on it after I cracked my rim and had to send it out for repair.
