Pics of my SC430...finally with some mods
Well I have had my SC430 for 4 years and decided to spice it up.
I had HRE rims sitting in my garage for almost 4 years unused. I studied the wheels to find the best fit for the car (well in my opinion of course). I wanted the wheels super flush with a generous amount of rubber. The wheels are:
19x9.5 HRE 540R Polished centers wrapped in 275s
19x11 HRE 540R Polished centers wrapped in 295s
The front brakes are the Stoptech 14" setup and the rears simply have drilled rotors.
The suspension is a modified Tein CS series to be more like a Flex which is not available as a product. Tein says you can go 2KG/mm away from the standards without revalving. I went 3KG/mm on both and they said it should be fine.
I believe stock spring rate is around 5KG/mm front and 5KG/mm rear.
Tein CS for the SC430 is 7KG/mm front and 6KG/mm rear.
This setup is 10KG/mm front and 9KG/mm rear.
I do not envision doing too much more to the car. Adding power would be nice but is not worth the pain. Anyway, I am happy about the car again.
