Being a bit of a novice I bought the following rims and tires from a guy that had them on his 2005 sc430 that he traded in unexpectedly because he had an opportunity to buy another car he allways wanted. The tires and rims had 472 miles on them when He took off and sold the car with the OEM run flats .
I felt it was a great opportunity for me to upgrade my wheels and tires for a total cost of $ 1350.00 and I basicaly got what I would say were brand new.
I have put on approx 900 miles and it now occured to me what is offset. I just assumed that the tires and rims were and still may be ok for my car which is a 2005 sc430 just like the car they were on. The wheels and rims came with the hub centric adapter plates and the tire pressure sensors. I know my set up is staggered and I seem to not feel any detrimental effects. I like the way the rims and tires look and the ride is no worse then the run flat 18 " tires I took off. I was wondering if any of this groups brain trus could offer an opinion as to my set up being safe etc.
