Default Low tire pressure light keeps going off...

My car keeps giving me a low tire light. I fill the tire with air and the light goes off. My tires have a decent wear to them. Is it the tires or the monitor?

what pressure do you put in though? and is it indeed losing air every time you check?

the fact that every time you put in air the light goes off i think the sensors are working. i think you need to be above 30psi or so (cold). for stock wheels i think the spec is 32 or 33psi

How do you know what pressure you're putting in. I always go to the gas station and put air in the tire that way? If the pressure is too high will that cause it to go off

Only low pressure will set it off. Some have to go as high as 36-37 psi to make the light go off.
Of course different gauges operate differently

The tool set that Lexus gave you should come with a tire pressure gauge.
Maybe it is time to use it.
A good digital one probably costs you less than $20.

doens't sound like a sensor problem; more like a leaky tire. the sensor sounds like it's doing it's job.

all the tires need to be close to the same pressure also, the sensors are compared to each other by the ecu. if you have 35, 36, 35, and 32 psi, the light will turn on. make sure you are about 35 36 psi all the way around.

Any help on this topic?

To give you the run down my car's front end got sprayed with Washer fluid. I'm positive it came from the headlight washer and it completely emptied the tank? Anyone know what may have caused this?

Any idea what something like that would cost to fix?
