SC430driver seat will not recline back enough

MY seat reclines so much it hits the back seat as well. I'm 6'4" and on long trips recline it back enough to rest my head on the headrest. Not sure why yours doesn't go all the way. In fact I put a small black towel over the front of the back seat so I don't get leather against leather squeak.

ME-Spec SCs (Mine) recline till they hit the rear seat (no limit).. I still wish there was a way to cancel the pointless rear seats and extend the rail.. This way you'd also get rid of the terrible leather on leather skuffing with the seat hitting the rear.. Being 6'5, its quite annoying sitting in the SC sometimes

found out reclining hard stop but...
For sc430 seat full reclining In the initial type sc430,
I removed the seat back gear stopper and was able to full recline in the full range of motion from the rear end to the front end without any restrictions.

thats really weird. I sat on another sc430 and the chairs went full recline. it was a 2002. i bought a different sc430 also 2002 and i was surprised that it didn't recline. has anybody figured out how to make it recline all the way back?

I'm guessing that it all depends on the seat height/position. The lower the seat and the farther back the seat is, the sooner it will hit the back seat and restrict the angle of the recline.
