Hey, guys as you know I have a 03 lexus sc430 which has a third gen navigation system. well long story short my friend has a sc430 with a 4th generation navigation as well and he is selling his old navigation disk because he is buying a new one. Well would it work on a third generation one? I know the second and third generation works, but idk about 3rd and fourth... If it doesn't work please explain...

i doubt. from my understanding, 4th gen is a completely new software design (due to bluetooth and voice recognition), so it's not compatible with older systems.

that's what i heard and believe. now of course i have never tried
