are you talking about the two pipes that split in the middle of the car, the resinators, yes you can remove that and replace it with normal 2 1/4" piping you will have a deeper tone, not loud, and no performance gain, but sounds cool

any muffler shop can cut and weld that for you, in 5 minutes and about 50 bucks, but you dont want to mess with the cats

Doesn't that car have an aftermarket exhaust too though? Is that sound strictly from removing the silencer?

Yes that one has an after market exhaust, but that is what it will sound similar to. A much throatier growl..

I had the muffler removed this summer and love it! $170 installed.
Of all of the mods I have done to my car this is my favorite.

When I did this I figured I would try it and planned to return to stock or get a used blitz if I did not like it.

TopDown - do you have a vid/sound clip of your car? Did you take the resonantors out as well, or just muffler? Thus straight pipes after the cat?

Would love to compare how these all sound. Im planning on modifying my exhaust, however cannot decide which way to go without hearing all the options. I know on you tube, there is the black SC with the resonantors replaced by straight pipes and new exhaust tips; and a red sc with the Blitz exhaust. Any others? Thanks

I am sure they can make it fit, but why you want to do that?
Just sell the GS one and get the sc430 one unless you can't sell it at a fair price.
