Age of SC430 owners on this forum?
I know the SC430 has the reputation of being more of an older person's car since it is a very comfortable tourer, but not really a racecar.
I've had my racecars already, plenty of Rx-7s, modified Miatas, race prepped MGB, Subaru STI, etc....
I'm picking up an 07 SC430 as a nice well rounded car to enjoy driving in town and on road trips.
I've browsed the various meet pics since the start of this SC430 section on CL and have seen some younger looking folks in the pics with their cars, and there appears to be a lot of people into modding them as well on here.
I have a LX450 that I have taken from 100% stock to a monster offroad trail machine in less than a year - and the meets I go to related to Land Cruisers always has me as the youngest by far (I'm 27 now...).
I'm just curious of the age of owners on this board, so I'll post a poll....

Hey Cody,
Aren't you on IH8MUD.com? You have a sick LX470, I'm usually on the forum since we have a 80 and 100 series in the stable, I’ve kept up with your process and you rig is coming along quite nicely.
I am 22 and bought my SC a few months back, and so far I have been loving every minute of it!! What color SC are you getting? You will definitely enjoy it, it’s a night and day difference between the 80 and SC....
Post up some pictures when you pick her up

I'm headin down to the Phoenix dealers with a blank cashier's check on Tuesday. I've picked out an 07 Mercury Silver with the Black leather (since the PBs have long since been sold out).
We'll see how low I can get it for - but if the sales guy tries to give us some "Oh, these are ultra-rare, we really do not discount these vehicles" nonsense...I'll interrupt him with asking for directions to the next local dealer.
From this board I've gathered that some dealers in Florida sell them for $59k, and invoice is like $56,945 (this one also has rear spoiler, runflats, floor mats and wheel locks, IIRC)
Yes, Im on IH8MUD and ExpeditionPortal with my LX450.

Owners Age
I think the stats here show sc enthusiast not owners. The average owner probably does not know this fourm exists. I must say I am shocked by the ages shown here. When I bought my wife told me to make sure I was ready for this car and would I be happy. Now I see I am in the old fart bracket (57). We love the car. (just not the transmission). Surt

Thats a shame. I tried to get a job a mcdonalds when I was 22 and they turned me down as my hair was too long.. if only they did then I could have bought one when I was a lot younger

Man the average person I've seen driving the SC430 has to be in the mid 80s here in SoCal... Its a good thing that old women like these cars otherwise I'd never see them on the road...
And whats with all the younger guys here? Man, when I was that age, I wouldn't be caught dead in car like this. Sure its might seem expensive but so were Cadilacs. Even now at the ripe old age of 34 this car seems too old for me...
Which is why I have a new toy... Its old and its crappy but it may be a keeper. My poor SC just sits now.... =(

well ive gone through several cars since i turned 18. a GS300, SC400, 540i, X5 4.4i, 745i, my SC430 and my beater 3.2TL im only 21 now, but im heavy into the import scene, and you just have to step up your game with everybody else in the scene. plus, not a lot of people out there mod their SC430, so i thought id jump onto a different bandwagon instead of going with a GS.
