Alternative Sway Bar Set Up
Anyone out there have an alternative to Daizen sway bars. I'm looking to get something done in the near future and can't seem to find a replacement for the SC430.

The market for this car is too small. haha
The fact that TRD only produces a muffler for uzz40 should confirm how small the market is.
I think it is safe to say a high percentage of the modified SC430s in the US are here on this forum.
BTW, a company named Racing Produce Speed in Japan has a rear sway bar for our cars, but it costs more than the whole Daizen sway bar set (F+R).
The rear sway bar from RPSpeed also comes with its own bushings and endlinks.

i think that if they made these in a production run and not to order they might have some laying around they are dying to get rid of since there is basically no demand other than a few of us on here. Its just so hard to track down whoever did fab these.
And I agree with BNR the sway bar from the 2GS wouldnt really work any differently on the SC430 since its the same frame and almost exact weight depending on the year.

Technically, they are not exactly the same.
For one, chassis codes are different.
They do share some of the same parts, not all of them.
The sc430 has some additional chassis brace parts from factory that won't fit the 2gs, either.
Again, I can understand why you guys want to it.
I myself am just concerned about the balance of the setup.

Can you explain your concerns more? Do you think it is dangerous? I am installing the front GS sway bar tomorrow because I liked the posts stating better handling. I already added the Cusco strut tower brace and the rear member braces from lTuners.
Do you think adding the rear GS bar with adaptor would keep the balance?
Do you think the Toms braces are a better option? I was thinking about the rear 6 Toms links for the rear after adding the GS front sway bar.
Any comments would be appreciated.

I am waiting for your writeup after you install the complete TRD front and rear sways.
It will be a good thing for the sc430 members here if everything works out beautifully.
I am not saying it is dangerous, but we need more guinea pigs to run the complete setup.
Generally, the aftermarket suspension/chassis parts made for the 2gs are tuned much stiffer than that for the sc430 handling wise.
