hatch not opening

hatch not opening
Hey there, The rear hatch of my SC430 isnt opening by the front console button or by remote. I have already tried the glove box button but of no use. Do i have to follow some specific procedure to use the glove box button? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Make sure your hardtop is fully closed, you hear the "ding" sound then its all good, then try opening trunk. Or open the top completely and close it, then try opening trunk. The glove box button is straightforward i believe, its either press or depress the button in the glovebox and when u have the button on unlock , it should allow u to open the trunk.
