Default Painting front grill insert.

Hey guys...I think I am going to paint my front grill tomorrow? Does anyone here have the inside part of their grille painted black? (with or without emblem) I have seen pix of it done on black but my car is silver and I think it might look better than what is there now. The color paint I got is actually an extremely dark charcoal metallic. I will be going with black pearl emblems soon and I may leave the front emblem off. If any one has a pic. I would really like to see it. I tried photoshop and didn't do a real good job?
Thanks and I will post pix tomorrow if I elect to go through with it!

I did mine a couple of years back. I find I have to repaint it every 6 months or so as it gets dinged up a bit, but I put a lot of highway miles on the car so I'm always getting hit by somethng. I painted the chrome strip as well. I like the look but from a maintainence point of view I don't think I'd do it again.
