Hi guys, My girlfriend wants to get a used SC430 with keyless entry and push button start. Does anyone know when these options became available? I just saw some pictures of some badass SC's and now we want one bad. Thanks everybody on CL.

They all have keyless entry standard but none of them ever came with push button start. Maybe when the SC gets redesigned it will have push button start

Now that was a service. Thanks for the fast reply. So even a 2001 came with keyless entry?

Car debuted in 2001 as a 2002 model but yes 2002 came with keyless entry

dont these cars all come fully loaded? I mean for the price, it better

It is practically since 2002 I think.
In the USA, the NAV & the rear spoiler are optional at launch, but very few of them actually came without them I think.

yup, only very few of the 02 had no nav and rear spoiler, otherwise most of them come fully loaded. only thing i can think of the is the donut spare in the trunk.

also, for cars from HI, i don't think they have nav

Wait, keyless entry as in a remote w/lock & unlock buttons or keyless entry as in touch the door handle & it unlocks itself w/o even taking the remote/key out of your pocket? If it's the latter then no, the sc430 never came w/this option.

keyless entry means using remote buttons to lock/unlock the doors

Yeah!

I know what it means Henry. It's just some people refer to the one I was talking about as keyless entry.

Actually it was the latter. Keyless entry like you walk up to the car and the keys are in your pocket and you can open the door and start the car without ever having to take it out. That is a new option on many lexus's.
