Default What do you all think? Please be honest!

Please be honest. Let me know what you all think. Thanks a bunch! Except for the 19x8.5 (f) and 9.5 (r) SSR Agle Strusse wheels the SC is stock. The GS sports the SC's stock wheels, RMM front grill and PIAA bulbs all around. More to come for both vehivles! I hope you all like them. I refer to them as my GSC 830 .

Smile "AWESOME WHEELS ON BOTH CARS!"

WOW - That's about the Best Looking Sets of After Market Wheels I've seen yet, and one Both Cars! Is there still plenty of clearance for the new 19" Tires and Wheels under the Wheel Wells? Did you stay with the Run Flats on the new Wheels?

How does the ride compare to the OEM 18" Wheels on the SC?

Would you be so kind as to share the Web Site of the Wheel Supplier for all of us?

Thanks for the motivating words. Yes there is plenty of clearance with the 19's on the SC. Almost too much. I'm looking into 21" Dronell wheels. The problem is I have to go with two different brand tires, because one manufacturere doesn't make sizes to fit the front and rear. Good choice on the GS430. My bro has one. Hope you opted for the Mark Levinson stereo. Its a pretty good sounding stock system. Anyone heard anything on whether or not 21" is the way to go for the SC?

I forgot to mention, neither has the run flat tires.

Thanks. WOW! The black SC with the 19" DazzMatiz wheels looks great. Do you know any info on it? How it was lowered? The wheels look a lot larger with the vehicle so low. Yes, my next step is to lower both vehicles. Also, there are more pics posted in the GS and SC galleries.

Sorry I didn't include this earlier. The SC runs quite smooth with the 19s. You can feel a difference though. I guess we all have to sacrifice a little for the aesthetics. The best info on the wheels is either from www.rodmilen.com or www.speedstar.co.jp.

Thumbs up

Nice rides! The wheels on the SC are really nice. I think 21" would be a lil' large on the small body of the convertible. As Gene suggested get an 1" drop and enjoy your Lex!!!

When you drop the car 1", is there any noticable difference in the ride or handling? For the better or the worse? Are there any kits available for this?

Default Lowering Kits

RodF,

Don't know what kits are available, if any. Just by looking at other pics of SCs that are lowered I tend to think that there are kits, i just haven't had the time to look around yet. If anyone knows of any, please let us know.

Lowering it definitely improves the looks. Any feedback as to what it does to the ride and handling? Are there any warranty issues?
