Does anybody here have a problem with their open and close button? The button always turn red when i make my car convertible. It seems like it doesnt close all the way and when i drive it makes a annoying noise like blah blah blah like how if you dont put your seat belt on. Is there some way to fix it yourself or I have to take it to a dealer. Please let me know.

?! something is wrong. if the whole process is completed, you shouldn't hear any warning sound. if you hear it, that means the process isn't complete

Yep, I've never had that problem. The OP should bring the car in to have them check on it.

also, just in case. for example you want to put the top down. you press and hold the button, everything starts working and the top start going down right?

once you see the trunk lid closed, did you wait a bit and hear a sound (beep?) before you let go of the button? that signals the completion of the process. if you continue to hold, the side windows should start coming up again

The red light on the button shouldn't stay on when the process is complete when you let go of it, does he mean it stays on nomatter what ? I always hold until the windows roll up too, that's what I always wanted, but after the window is up, there should be no light nor chime .

Take it to the dealer there is either something wrong or they need to teach you how to work your car.

Are you sure that the luggage cover/shade is securely fastened in place in your trunk? When I first bought my SC I thought something was wrong with the top too, then I opened the trunk and saw that the luggage cover/shade needed to be pulled all the way towards you and latched securely. The top will not work if it is not. I believe this is covered in the owner's manual.
