Default Tein H-Tech vs CS Coilovers??????

I just got me a set of used Tein CS Coilover (previous version). Got sick of waiting for the new ones.

Anyone know how much the ride quality differs?

Anyone went from Tein H-Tech to CS coilovers?

Please give some input as far as ride quality and handling?

Thanks

John,

I went from S-techs to CS and there was a HUGE difference. With the S-techs, I ran out of suspension travel and when I hit a pot hole, it made the whole car shutter, huge. Besides with the CS, you can adjust the ride height as you wish. From what I understand, you can go higher than stock (I don't know why one would do that) to tucking the tire into the wheel-well.

Also, I totally agree with Henry. Come on up to EOS. It would be great to see and to talk to you again.

I just installed the CS Coilover yesterday and here are my thoughts

With CS, the ride is much smoother, especially over little bumps like railroad tracks and dips. The car is not as bouncy and the car seems more firm on the road. The ride quality is definitely superior with CS but as you know, it comes with price.

I have mine set at "5" clicks(Soft). With this setting, the car is little firmer than Tein H-Tech but ride quality is still there.

Here is my conclusion. If in your budget, definitely go with the coilover but if not, Tein H-tech is not a bad idea considering the price.

Both CS and H-Tech maintain almost stock ride(I say maybe 10% firmer with H-Tech and about 12% or 13% with CS) but CS definitely has better/smoother ride quality.

The bottom line is you get what you pay for.

Just thought I'll share my experience.

Hey Henry,

When is EOS again? It seem like I alway get tied up with things on weekend like wedding, b-day, and etc. I know I'll be tied up for next 2-3 weekend.

By the way, what setting is your CS on?
