I can tell you to buy the car.
I too never thought I'd ever own such a NICE car. However, managed to get a '02 for 1/2 the price it would be new. I have no complaints about this sport/luxury vehicle. It's a gem & aside from trading up to a newer used one someday... I can't see myself wanting any other vehicle instead of this one. Once you've driven this car even the Mercedes or BMW can't compare to the quality/comfort of this Lexus. Also, the exterior style in this model has not changed so everyone thinks my car is brand new. Anyway, as for the rain, I've never had any problems it holds the ground & as long as you arent driving crazy with it...you'll be perfectly fine. As for snow, I have the luxury of "working from home" on snowdays. Once I did find myself at work with the car when a snowstorm surprised us...made it home fine in my Lexus with stock runflats (only a dusting on the ground though). Can't vouch for getting through the one foot or more of snow we get at times in northern NJ. At least I finally got a garage for my gem of a car. It hated having snow sitting on it.
