Here's a SC430 that I modded...here's what I did...

+ Changed the color to black (was originally purple)
+ Add Lowenhart BR5 wheels (roughly 19")
+ Added body kit (my own design)
+ Added SC300/400 "inner" light (I believe 1SickLex asked for this mod)
+ Lowered

enjoy...

BTW - This is really a Japanese Soarer which is why it has the Soarer license plate and Soarer logo on the grille instead of Lexus stuff...and it's right hand drive...use your imagination...

Manaray hope you don't mind but I took that pic above and played with it a bit.. I was curious to see how it would look in a bright blue.. First attempt at doing something like this.. Tell me what you think..

I need a lesson on how to make photo mods like this..these imaginary mods look really cool...is it just a photoshop thing or do i need more? How difficult is it?

Dave - Photoshop is pretty easy to learn (I learned it by myself w/o even looking at the manual...cuz I didn't have one!)...but then again, I've been using Photoshop since v2.0 (it's a v6.0.1 currently)...plus I've got a graphic design/arts (I was the kid that would always draw on the school tables and my notebooks...walls...eh, we won't get into that!) background which doesn't hurt.

If you're artistically inclined and you understand perspective, ratios, etc., etc., it's just a matter of learning Photoshop (or some other photo editing program)...

Plus it take patiences, some **** retentivness, and a good bit of luck to find the right photos to use...

DevilDog - Nah, just a tagger turned...non-tagger I guess

Hey, speaking of the Starlet, I have a video of one that's FULLY raced out with like 400 HP (not on 20's though...more like 14's!) with full stripped interior and a roll cage...you gotta see this thing run...turns in a respectable lap time (I think a RE Amemiya Super-G RX-7 had the fastest time...so for for the Starlet to be only a few seconds off is VERY impressive!)

Manaray:

This is the first time I came in to the SC430 forum (well its new anyway) and I saw that quad-headlight pic of the SC430 you did and I just fell in love with it!

It is BEAUTIFUL! and it would be in any other color with those lights (and wheels)....what I don't understand is why the SC430 isn't FASTER than the GS430? and why it doesn't have e-shift? and why it doesn't have just 6 inches more room in the back seat?

I am sure Lexus could do all that by still retaining the sports coupe image and I don't think the price should go up by more than 5% either...right?

I have always liked the looks of the Porsche Boxter, Dodge Viper, MB CLK (not really from the front, but sides and back look good), but now I am starting to like the SC430 too, except that the back of the SC430 doesn't look too appealing to me...

Nanotech - Both the SC430 and the GS430 don't have e-shift...from what I understand, Toyota wanted to me ULEV emission standards and with e-shift, it wasn't going to happen...or some BS like that...

I think Lexus should have done the following the SC430...

A) Keep the inner light (keep it quad lights).
B) Included better wheels
C) Painted the rotor centers so that it won't rust (I guess this was a major complaint which is why Lexus put trash can lids on the SC...whatever)
D) Made a hardtop only model SC300...
E) E-Shift...screw the environment!

The Ikon: I haven't forgotten your request...I've just been upgrading my comptuers and I just now got them up and running OK (except for the PC...the PC is a serious pain in the ***...thank God I only play games on it and don't have any important documents!)
