Let me know if you see some other kind of ten dollar rebate.

Ah, we don't have that in the UK so I didn't look very closely at it.

I got a fitted one off ebay that was almost $300, Covercraft was the brand. It's an indoor car cover with a soft inside. I made the mistake of using it outdoors once where it was protected from rain, but not wind. The cover scuffed up the paint really bad from the cover flapping on it, not even a power polish could get rid of all of it. Make sure you get the appropriate cover!

I have used Covercraft custom fit covers for 22 years.
Just get the correct cover for your needs.
I use the Tan Flannel for my SC. Strictly for indoor use.

As per Steve's recommendation above here is the one I am looking at getting:

Thoughts?

As you can see, it's not a perfect fit, but it ticks all the boxes and does the job.
Obviously not as 'pretty' as a custom made one, but it works for me.
One thing to mention, as my car is 'all down' with the air sus, you may find it does not reach the floor at normal ride height!
Best regards

SC430 Car Cover
I may need to put my 2002 SC430 outside for a while. I did a quick search on "car cover" and didn't come up with much -- may be my fault.
Nonetheless, if any one here has any positive experience with a brand they like -- I'd be grateful for your response.

-gene

My SC stays in the garage, but I have a 2006 Crossfire ragtop that sits outside all year, and I've had a Covercraft custom fitted cover on it for about three years - outstanding cover. still looks like new. I've also got a couple of their covers for my Harleys - one for over 20 years, and it still looks and works great. I also use their custom sunscreens on all my cars.
I have the Weathershield HP model (they make various types for different purposes - both indoor & outdoor), and the only thing I don't like about it is that it isn't 100% waterproof, but I wanted ultimate sunscreening since the Florida sun is murder on paint -and it's perfect for that. It's lightweight, machine washable, and goes on & off easily (especially if you follow the folding instructions) .
....and they make them to fit the SC430 (actually, they can custom fit any car) : http://www.covercraft.com/carcovers/...ar_covers.html
I've had great luck with them...

Thanks for the reply. I've looked at WeatherShield -- looks one of the best (and most expensive) -- yet what's the point of buying a great car and then protecting it with junk?!
I'm in Atlanta -- and we also get plenty of sun and rain. I'll want a quality product -- and appreciate you sharing your experience.

eBay cover
Has anyone taken a chance on this one on eBay?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/180715509272...S:1123&vxp=mtr
The image shown of the 5 layers looks just like those I've seen on other more expensive web sites. Of course, I know it's easy to copy pics/images -- so that's not sufficient evidence that this is a quality cover.
I did ask the seller how much the cover weighs -- about 7 pounds.
Thanks for your thoughts,
