I have noticed a huge increase of SC430s on eBay and Autotrader and like the post above, it's mostly 02 models or early in-service 03s. Is there any difference between the 02 and 03 models? The Lexus certified web site doesn't list any updates or changes.
Just a note: Lexus of Austin had an 06 SC430 on the showroom floor in Matador Red with black leather and dark coated graphite-looking wheels and we both thought it was the best looking car available. Did "absolutely red" get tossed in favor of this color? If so, wise choice. It was gorgeous, but about $30k out of our price range.

This one had mutiple owners with collision history. No obvious body work were visible when you look at it but it drives with some rattles. You should be able to find one at decent price if you shop around. I' think 03 model is pretty much same except Navigation became standard equipment and introduced tele link communication as an option.
