Just looked up that part number, and not finding it as stoptech.

Could it be 128.44104R? and 128.44103L?

Also, looking up 97 supra twin turbo. Looks like standard brake rotor is cendrix with your number 120.44103 and 4

My apologies that's right got mixed as I ordered 4 sets of brakes at the same time.

I ordered 128.44104R and 128.44103L. as for the stop tech brake pads my only complaint is the brake dust. I should've got ceramics, otherwise the bite is great

Bimmer, thanks again. Got it all installed this weekend, but needed 3.5mm spacer, so ordered some 5mm spacers. Took several pictures, so will get them posted up.

here are pics. I tried to take reference pics so all know how much to trim off backing plate. I cut too much off, could have just done 1/4 inch on top on the inside portion. Bottom was pretty good with 1/4 inch too.

Looks great ! So you need the spacer because of your wheels? Are they rubbing? And get extended thread lug nuts for a tighter hold. I got 20 from eBay for around 30$, they should be 25$ for you, the shaft goes right into the wheel holes.

Yes, I have aftermarket rims, but there was clearance issues still. I put 1/8 washers on for test and had clearance barely. Worried that when they got hot it might be an issue, so I decided 5mm would be plenty.

With the 9mm spacers that I was able to get locally, that I have on termporary, I was able to put 5 full rotations of the lug nuts on.

I was assuming that with 5mm I would be able to put 8 threads on, which seems reasonable, but $30 is not very bad insurance. Just followed your link, for my rims, I need the stepped washer style lug nuts. will do some searching on ebay.

Ohh ok yeah good idea with spacer. And if you have no luck finding lug, I know gorilla makes the stepped washer style mags.. anyhow good luck

Wow! Gotta say that I did not think the stock brakes were that bad. I always stopped when I needed to.

Now, I can stop on a dime. Amazing upgrade. As much power as we have to speed up, these now bring the needle down quick!

This feels and looks like the brakes that you expect in a go fast car.

Thanks for the help on the upgrade, and I highly recommend that you do this upgrade.

I got all the parts on RockAuto, and was in the $300 range plus a bunch of dremel disks getting the calipers cleaned up plus $100 for powercoating.

Great, you got em on! To be honest they have already saved me a few times. For the weight of this car I would highly recommend it also and best part is that it's an OEM upgrade

Gotta say... the mk4 Supra is the quickest 60-0 stopping car I've ever been in, as a passenger. My friend scared the crap out of me once as we were approaching a red light going about 80 one fine evening on the turnpike. I think I was 18 years old at the time... man time flies.
