So I just got me "new to me" (used) 20" rims while in Louisiana. I'm not completely satisfied with the look, but for a total of $400, they will get the job done. They are in decent condition and have minimal signs of wear and tear and some slight curb rash and gouges. They came with a full set of tires, but I had to purchase two new cheap tires (Venezia) to avoid rubbing in the front (add $200). The included tires fit without incident in the back. I plan to use these as my winter rims and thus will wrap them in snow tires once I get back to Chicago so I just needed some rubber to get me back to Chicago for the time being. I had the OEM TRD Chrome Rims (18x8+40) and Blizzaks (245/40/18), but used 30mm spacers in the rear to give me a move aggressive look. I had to remove the spacers to make the included tires fit and thus the front stick out a little more than I'd like but once I get the proper winter tires, all will be good. Right now, not rubbing and no need to roll fenders. I've attached a photo pre-detail (no tire shine). More to come later. Thoughts? Comments? Opinions?

Well the ride is smoother but I do get some violent vibration at 60+mph. So I ordered hub centric rings now that I know the wheel bore (73.1). Should get here on Friday and then to Gateway Tire for the TPMS Swap and hubcentric ring install.

Next question for the pros.... what size WINTER tires fit the SC430 in a 20"? I can't find any sizes (via TireRack) in any of the following that I am running...
245/35/20
275/30/20
225/35/20
245/35/20

Any other tires or recommendations? Runflat or Nonrunflat is ok.

...those are some of the most common sizes in the 20in tires, so I'm kind of shocked that a winter tire isn't readily available in those sizes

The link in Post #1 doesn't work - maybe my question was already answered there, but I can't tell. That question is...

What are the OEM wheel specs - particularly Offset and Backspacing?

I'm 99% sure the following is accurate. OEM tires are 245/40/18. OEM Chrome TRD is 18x8+40, OEM Pie plates/twisties are 18x8+45.

Hello,
My SC is equipped in 245/35/20 front and rear in 285/30/20. With this rise, the speed is perfect

Default Help

I've been looking at the wheel fitments for my SC430 for some time now and after a few months am confused more than ever!!
Has anyone fitted 19 x 8.5 unknown offset Front with 19 x 9.5 +28 offset Rear ??
Would like fairly aggressive look!
Front tyres 245 40 19 ?
Rear tyres 265 30 19 ?

Any help,ideas welcomed.

...you should be definitely ok with that setup. If you want an aggressive look without using spacers, then low to mid 20 offset will be your range & you won't have to do any mods to body. You may need to run a 35 series tire on the front, for a little more clearance, but the 245 width will be ok. The rear will accommodate up to a 285 width, without an issue, using the offset that you mentioned & a 30 series tire. Also, if you haven't replaced your shocks before, the new tire/wheel setup may rub some over bumps & rough roads. I had this issue when I changed my setup, but just took it as a notice that it was time to replace shocks. After replacing shocks,no rubbing at all.....hope this helps some
