I just put a set of Maya MRS on my car. 20x9 in front and 20x10.5 in back. It looks great!! The tires that were chosen for the package only left me with approx. 2" between the tire and fender/wheel well...and I hear them rub if I hit a large enough bump in the road. Can anybody suggest a suspension upgrade to rid me of this problem?

2002 SC430 Unusual 18" 12 Spoke Wheels
In my search for a used SC430, most I have seen pictures of have the common 5 spoke disc wheel but there is a 2002 SC430 on Ebay being sold by a Texas used car dealer that has chrome 12 spoke wheels with 245/40ZR18 tires. The description says they are factory chrome wheels. As there is no spare in the trunk, I can only assume these are the run flat tires.
Strange looking wheels, I have not seen any SC430 pictures of any year with them on nor can I find any like these in the aftermarket web sites. The "L" logo on the wheel doesn,t look like a legit Lexus logo either.
Are they factory Lexus accessory wheels? Are they from some other Lexus car?
You know folks, I don't think I like them. If I bid on that car, my price will consider I might want to take them off when I buy new non run flat tires.

Rcpeters,
They're definitely Lexus wheels, but I"d bet they're off an LS, or GS. They certainly aren't off an SC.
As for assuming they're Run Flats, well, I wouldn't. I think a majority of owners take the run flats off when they do a wheel upgrade, as the run flats are certainly felt to provide a harsh ride.
The fact that there is no spare probably doesn't say much. I think many are running without spares, perhaps with small air compressors, and bottles of tire sealant.
