Default Two words

That's interesting.

My reaction, as someone who has been driving this car for 5 full summers, can be summed up in two words.

Ugly and unnecessary.

And the unnecessary part is optional.

One for the ladies?

I know when I have girls in the car with the top down their not too happy.

Either that or keep some elastic bands in the glove box

At higher speeds, raising the side windows cuts down on the wind and the noise by a substantial amount.

And if it's not a formal occassion, most ladies do appreciate the spare scrunchie that should be included as standard equipment.

But that big net sticking up in the back looks like you are trying to catch pigeons. I'd rather spend (waste) my money on the Lexus Ecru Pillow With the Blanket Inside, discussed elsewhere on this forum.

There should be a rule here that you should not post unless you have some good material.

This makes things more enjoyable for all.

Just trying to help, but still buzzed.

And Pigeons do make for some good eating, if you fry 'em up right.

Pigeons are great. They are alot tastier than chickens. Espesially the brown breast meat. However I have never had them fried. Pigeon soup is the way to go

I've actually heard of some folks on the East coast using these windscreens to play a sort of "Lexus Lacrosse."

Apparently those with the tein cs have an edge...

I seen this wind deflector on the SL500 and Beemer convertibles. for them, since they don't have the smalle wind deflector like ours, it makes sense for them to have that and it doesn't look too bad. For the Sc430, it looks awkward at first but, hey, i know after a while you become use to that item. Plus, it's removable, right?

This may come in handy for those that have extra sensitive hair that don't want too much wind to blow it to the side and mess it up. kind of like "Ted Dansen's" hair-due in Cheers where he worships his hair and alway has to be perfect.

I know I want to enjoy the top down w/ minimal wind drag and I have my windows up most of the time. And still, I always have to slick my hair and look myself in the mirror and do "The Fonz" hand stroke on the side of my head to make sure I'm cool like that.

Maybe, this wind deflector will come in handy when you need it. Maybe, they make in a more transparent material so that it doesn't show as much.

You know what, i don't think it's that really of a big deal on our cars. As long as it gets the job done and you're happy w/ it, why not. I'll definitely need this mod when I'm on a date and want to make sure my hair is slick like the "Fonz" in Happy Days while enjoying the top down doing 80mph. Oh, and the gal sitting next to me will benefit from this, too

I had a date with a young hot model. She has very long hair, when she got in the car, the top was down, I asked if she wanted the top up... she said no, as she applied lip gloss to her sexy lips. Then I drove about a block and her hair blew around a bit and of course her hair ended up sticking to the freshly applied lip gloss. She was a sport about it... I put the top up. That screen may come in handy form time to time.
