Thumbs up Strut Tower Bar

Hello,

I'm a newbie. I just picked-up an 02 last week and love it. Picked it over the SLK Quick question, Does anyone make a Strut Tower Brace for the SC430?

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm trying to reduce some of the body flex when driving with the top down. Any additional advice would be appreciated.

Can you really feel the body flex or is it the very soft ride that's the issue? If it's the actual body of the car flexing a strut bar isn't going to do very much, you probably won't even notice a difference. I'd take a look at Tom's lower brace kit. If it's the SC 430's soft ride then I'd be looking at Tein CS coilovers and Daizen sways. That makes an incredible difference, but remember the coilovers are adjustable and you might not be able to get to the adjustment points if you've got the strut bar installed.

It's body flex with the top down when I go over bumps or small irregularities in the road/surface. I realized there will always be some flex I'm just trying to minimize it.

the daizen sways is what you should get. it eliminate most of the body roll compared to other braces and stuff. from what i know daizen is the only one who has sways for the sc430? email todd@tmengineering.net about it, he's a vendor here
