ehhhh..

still not a huge fan of the silver look. it kinda takes away from the clean look of the car IMO.

The Euro reference was coined because I thought it added a "targa" styling like a Porsche. Obviously not for everyone and I am not that crazy about it, but it does kind of grow on you. I dont think it adds that much flash.

The Jag thing is a back burner deal; I just put new tires on the Lex and need to get the power steering pump fixed. Even with that, the SC400 has been the best car I have ever owned in every category.

To remove the existing paint, I used BIX paint stripper the same stuff you can get at Home Depot. If you do this you might want to try a very small spot first before you commit. Also, I recommend aluminum tape sealed down good with a plastic squeegee (<-is that correct sp?). The stripper can get underneath regular masking tape and will eat weatherstripping.

so is there no way to just remove the actual piece.that stinks. i wish i couldve just ordered those pieces brand new.
i guess i will have a body shop paint them back to the gunmetal metallic look that it came with originally.
