Has anyone tried installing comeplete 95-96 foglight units into pre 95?

Looking at the shape of the cornering lights on the 92-94 SC's and then at the foglights on the 95-96, they seem almost identical. Just curious if anyone has tried fitting these units into the pre 95 bumper?

the openings in the pre 95 bumper are smaller and more shallow than the post 95 bumper openings so it will now work
