Default burnt orange SCs?

I found a couple example of burnt orange paint jobs, but it's tough to search for because it mostly turns up burnt gauge needles and HVAC screen, orange backlighting, and burnt A/T fluid.

And https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...ml#post1117833

The others I found, the offsite image links were all dead.

Anyone have other examples? I'm thinking more and more seriously about a re-paint, and that's a color I've always fancied. I generally prefer the darker colors but am leaning toward something light-ish for keeping the car cooler. If ever there's a time for burnt orange, this is it!

Glad to hear the initial takes are positive!

If sports are religion for some, then it loosely stands to reason that Oregon is an orange state / green state in the blue state / red state debate. With a green car, I'm on the wrong side of the fence.

That's one area where it would help to see more pictures, for sure. There's absolutely zero chance of me doing a black interior swap -- that's the antithesis of style, class, fashion, luxury, comfort (heat), etc., as far as I'm concerned -- and little likelihood of changing up the stock interior scheme now that I've fixed most of the things needing attention. So, the paint scheme would need to flow with everything else that will be staying as is.

^ Is "350z orange" a specific shade? That looks pretty burnt, but it's tougher to tell with the black panels. I had thought about a black roof along with burnt orange. It would likely look quite good but wouldn't exactly be a light color surrounding the cabin. Plus, the SC isn't well suited to blending the A and C pillars into different color body paint.

maybe oregon has orange covered, but burnt orange is a texas thing I thought. Its a nice color either way though, but its not like RSP intense though. the one from the 350z looks nice its more of a regular orange in person.

For sure. But burnt orange looks much better than flat orange on cars!

There is an orange sc300 for sale on Houston craigslist. Saw the car in person and orange is definitely a good color on these cars. Too bad the rest of it is a bit of a fail... Photo for reference:

Thanks, I found the Houston listing. That adds some different angles to piece the overall look together. I'm thinking it would look pretty sharp with black wheels. And I'd have no choice but to tint the windows.

That would look great. I love it when people paint cars in unique colors. The sc is different than a lot of cars. You kind of have to go with colors that are more subtle because of how large the body is and how curvaceuous it is. Neon orange would ruin the car, but a nice deep orange really suits the car.

It's volcanic orange metallic / burnt orange
They only made the 350z in one burnt orange
The door and the hood are carbon fiber
