Default LSx into SC300 Mount question (LS!guys chime in)

I picked up an SC a few months ago and have been contemplating a swap since the original GE was trashed, well out with the old and after some thought I decided to go the GM V8 route. I brought my 4.8 home the other day (got it for next to nothing) and since Im in no real hurry to get it in I have been looking at several options as far as tranny and mounts. I stumbled accross an LS1 into Cressida mount kit for very very cheap. Now from what I gather (I may be wrong) Cressida and the Sc mounts are very similar,to the point that a 1jz drops into both cars without modding mounts? Would this be an alternative to the pricier kits or DIY custom fabbing? Anyone able to chime in on this, if all else fails Ill just buy the kit and try it myself just to find out, its even somewhat adjustable.

I've seen some swap mounts on summit and jegs

I used the Dgr mounts, o

But it's not really a difficult mount wise,

If your using a 4l60 or a t56
The tail end of the tranny lines up,
The rear cross member will either need cut or remade,
I suggest remaking it
Use a custom or ctsv pan

Also, why spend all the time and money putting. In a 4.8
A 4.8, 5.3, 5.7, 6.0, and 6.2 all have the same mounting and footprint

I like the 4.8, It's just as capable as the 5.3 (same Block) and I paid almost nothing for it. I plan on boosting in the long run and I like the idea of a shorter stroke. I know the higher displacement engine is capable of producing more power based on size alone, but for my needs and power goals, a moderately turbo'ed 4.8 should be more than plenty. And thank you for your input on the mounts.
