Well Ive been waiting to post this up cause, the car runs great and I don't want to change a thing until i have some real downtime to tinker with this particular anomaly. Who does this!!!!! I cannot make sense of why this was done when there is a set screw with plenty of travel left!! makes me laugh everytime i look at it.
The things some people do to fix their cars or trucks. when you work for a used car lot, you see a lot of crazy stuff like that. i have done some crazy things also but, only as a temp fix till can get home and fix it properly.
A mechanic Neighbor was talking about how smooth the car idled and then shook his head when I showed him the fantastic mods done to the idle set. I have a entire intake ready if there is actually a broken tab under that mess, but felt it was such a engineering marvel that I had to take a pic before I fixed it.
